From outside Stark County

Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren is readily accessible from I-77.

From either north or south, exit the interstate at the Akron/Canton Airport (Exit 113.) At the light, turn left into the southbound lane of the boulevard Lauby Road. At the light, turn left onto Mt. Pleasant Street. The church is on the right on the southeast corner of the intersection at the first stoplight.

Within Stark County

Mt. Pleasant Street intersects with the major north/south arteries of Market Avenue and Cleveland Avenue east of the church. (See map.)

From Wales Avenue on the west, you will need to turn onto Shuffel (formerly Waywood Street), following the signs for the Akron/Canton Airport. At Frank Avenue, turn left. The road curves to the right and becomes Mt. Pleasant Street. (See map.)

From the Belden Village area, Whipple Avenue can be followed north to Shuffel. Turn right onto Shuffel, then turn left onto Pittsburg Avenue to Mt. Pleasant.(See map.)
